Glazing
Glazing plays a key role in thermal efficiency of a window. At Maple Windows and Doors we offer a range of double glass and triple glass units with or without argon, in order to achieve a lower U-Value and/or a good noise reduction.
Our profiles can accomodate glass units with a thickness between 28mm (DGU) to 36mm (TGU).
Aside from the various thickness, we also offer a vast palette of different glass types that will suit only your window and tastes. These include Low-Emissivity glass, Toughened glass, Laminated glass and Ornamental glass. The glass can be decorated with either lead models or Georgian bars.
Hardware
All our windows are equipped with multi-point locking mechanisms with mushrooms (not rollers), for a better anti-burglary protection. The level of safety can be extended on demand by using shootbolts and dogbolts which in combination with laminated glass can make your windows impenetrable.
Good quality hinges are used for any needs, from traditionally side-hung or top-hung to Easy-Clean, Fire-Escape, Egress, Restricted hinges.
